Here is some information about  The Star in Schupf for our english speaking guests! Unusually, we are not to be found on a high street - but up a winding country road, between the beautiful Hersbrucker Alb and the Oberpfalz, about 40 km east of Nuernberg, located close to Hersbruck and Altdorf. Our Star is an old village pub that we took over and re-opened in March 2000. Now it´s not only a pub but also a restaurant with typical franconian and homemade culinary specialties, served in a relaxed atmosphere. . The "Stern in Schupf" has a capacity for 25 guests in the main room, 28 guests in the side room, and 34 out on the terrace in the summer. As you can see on this website  we have lots of things going on here with lots of hospitality and service for our guests. So a visit is always worth while, the countryside around us is also quite unique and there are many things to do and see in the area.
